Profile For Ben Wendel
Ben Wendel
Raised in Los Angeles, Ben is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music. He performs locally and abroad, works as a studio musician and teaches privately. In addition to playing the saxophone, Ben also plays the piano, flute and bassoon. He has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such notable performers as Snoop Dogg, Adam Rudolph, Lalo Schifrin, Billy Higgins, Abe Laboriel and Manny Album. Touring highlights include multiple domestic tours with KneeBody and a successful European tour with electronica artist Daedelus. Ben completed a score for a short film that was later released at the Sundance Film Festival. He is one of the winners of the 2002 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award.
